Sterling Truck is the big brand name in the world of heavy duty truck manufacturer which is based at the Oregon. This brand is owned by Daimler Trucks which is considered as the top transportation giant. Initially, it does really well, but during the recession period, the revenue decreases. In October 2008, Daimler cleared that the range of Sterling line would be discontinued for at least next two years.
This discontinuation was happened because buyers were highly fascinated with their Freightliner vehicles but the production and maintenance facilities were limited at the production house.
