Volvo truck deliveries down by 4% in the month of April
Swedish truck maker Volvo AB said on Wednesday that it had delivered about 18,497 trucks in the month of April, down from 4 percent from April 2011. The deliveries for Europe had declined 22 percent to about 6,776 vehicles. The deliveries had declined 27 percent in Western Europe & fell 2 percent for the Eastern Europe. The deliveries for North America were increased 39 percent to about 4,712 automobiles for the month of April.
For Latin America, the deliveries had declined 30 percent to 1,630. For Asia, this group had delivered about 4,066 units, up 9 percent. The deliveries of the trucks by Volvo brand in the month of April decreased by 11 percent to about 8,448.
